an afternoon of vintage and consignment shopping on the upper east side, from designer revival on 81st up to the madison ave resale shops near 85th. a mix of high-end luxury consignment (chanel, hermes, prada territory) and woman-owned curated vintage (90s pieces, charm bracelets, true mid-century finds). great for browsing more than buying, but you'll probably leave with one good thing.

how to do this walk
afternoon-friendly, midweek if you want quiet. start at designer revival and the niche shop on e 81st, literally on the same block, so hit both back to back. walk up to allegra vintij on 83rd for true vintage, then continue north to matiell on 87th. from matiell, cross west to madison ave and walk south for la boutique resale (2nd and 3rd floors, easy to miss the entrance) and michael's luxury consignment a block down. michael's is closed sundays and closes earlier than the others, so check the day before you go.
