saturday in williamsburg and greenpoint with a stroller, looped to start where the baby wanted. open at william sheridan playground so the baby runs out the energy first, then north into greenpoint for lunch on acre's backyard patio and a slow browse at original story. back south to wythe ave for gelato at gelateria gentile, finish across the street at the brand-new heyday. every stop has room for a stroller, that's the through-line.

how to do this walk
weekend, late morning. start at william sheridan playground, the baby pays out their patience here so the rest of the walk can be slow. north into greenpoint, about 15 minutes through mccarren park, to acre for a bento lunch on the backyard patio (acre opens 8 and closes at 5). next door pretty much to original story for a slow browse, the sunglass case is the standout. back south to wythe ave for gelato at gelateria gentile, finish across the street at heyday (book a facial in advance, walk-in is hit or miss). about 1.8 miles total, plan a wider window for the baby's pace.
